AI Internship
AI internship is a three months long advanced internship program for students with AI/ML knowledge organized by SASTIC. The participating students are Armenian war veterans that initially went through basic AI/ML training organized by the “Mtqi Zark” organization. The students will work on real-life AI/ML projects under the supervision of international and domestic AI/ML experts and data scientists who are also SASTIC members.
Eleven participating students will work in two teams on the following projects:
- Implementation of visual navigation methods for a monocular camera.
- Implementation of Deep Learning methods for object detection in aerial images
They will be engaged in the complete end-to-end process starting from the selection of the appropriate algorithms and pipeline steps, exploration of data, selection and testing of possible approaches, finalization, implementation, and testing of the pipeline using real-life datasets.
